On April 22, Niklas will be attending Techtextil in Frankfurt on behalf of eco:fibr. We are looking forward to connecting with people working on technical textiles, fiber applications and new material solutions, as well as those looking for resource-efficient additions to existing raw material sources. 🤝

At eco:fibr, we focus on the mechanical extraction and processing of fibers from agricultural residues, particularly from pineapple plant residues. In this way, we show how plant-based biomass can be used meaningfully instead of remaining unused or being disposed of in environmentally harmful ways. For technical textiles, this opens up exciting perspectives, especially where material performance, resource efficiency and industry-oriented development need to be considered together.

Techtextil offers the right setting for this: exchange with companies, research and industry, new impulses from the sector and conversations about the requirements future fiber solutions will need to meet. For us, the trade fair is a valuable opportunity to make our work visible, deepen existing contacts and explore potential starting points for joint developments. 🌱
