#sheet former

The first samples are taking shape at eco:fibr, our sheet former is running, and we've successfully produced our first paper samples from our fiber in various blend ratios with pulp. We source our fibers in part from the residues of the pineapple plant. 🌱🍍 A milestone that marks the move from lab trials to tangible material samples, showing how, step by step, fiber turns into a material that industry can use. With every run on the sheet former, we learn something new.

Together with several partners, we're currently testing the properties of these samples, looking at strength, processability, and possible areas of application. Developing the material close to industry and directly with our partners matters a lot to us. The results feed directly into the further development of our fibers and help us tailor the material specifically to the needs of different industries. Bit by bit, this shows us where our fiber fits best.

We won't give away more just yet, but the next steps are already underway. 🌿
