Hi everyone,

I’m Alexander, External Strategic Advisor at eco:fibr, where I support the team in business development, go-to-market strategy and strategic partnerships.

Over the past decade, I’ve been building companies at the intersection of innovation, sustainability and industrial markets. As Co-founder and former CEO of Releaf Paper, I helped transform an idea into one of Europe’s most recognized non-wood paper companies, working with global brands including L’Oréal, Uber Eats, Samsung and LVMH. Before that, I co-founded Rephone, where we built one of Eastern Europe’s largest trade-in ecosystems (later acquired by Apple distributor).

Today, I’m the founder of  Z1RO, a deep-tech company developing next-generation molded fiber packaging from non-wood plant fibres. My passion has always been the same: turning overlooked natural resources into products that premium brands genuinely want to use. When I’m not deep in innovations, you’ll probably find me running, riding my Harley, playing thrash metal riffs on my guitar, or travelling the world with my wife and daughters. It helps remind me that not every challenge can be solved with another spreadsheet.

What excites me about eco:fibr is that we share the same belief: sustainable materials only change industries when they solve real business problems, not just environmental ones.

I’m excited to contribute my experience to eco:fibr and help accelerate the adoption of sustainable fibres across new industries.
