# Julian & Niklas in Costa Rica

Julian and Niklas travelled to Costa Rica at the beginning of the year for eco:fibr to gain a deeper understanding of pineapple plants as a raw material and to explore their potential even further. 🍍 On site, it became clear once again how much value lies in pineapple plant residues and the opportunities they offer for the development of sustainable materials. The trip gave us valuable insights along the value chain and showed how important it is to experience processes, origins and potential directly on site.

This is exactly what encourages us to keep rethinking this raw material and to develop new material-based solutions from it. 🌿
