Hey, I am Aaron, and since the beginning of March I have been part of the eco:fibr team as a working student in social media. I work completely from home and what has genuinely surprised me is that communication works really well despite that. Regular meetings, sprints and team exchanges create a clear structure for the next steps. A lot of things develop through conversation, questions, feedback and different perspectives coming together.
For me, working from home means above all self-organisation. I am learning to plan my time in a way that does justice to both my studies and my work. At the same time I appreciate the flexibility and the relaxed but focused way we work together. At eco:fibr we all pull in the same direction, bring our own ideas to the table and work towards turning plant-based residues into real industrial applications.
It is exactly this mix of personal responsibility, teamwork and pace that makes the work so exciting for me. I am realising how much you can learn when you take on responsibility early and at the same time have the opportunity to ask questions and keep growing.
I am looking forward to diving even deeper in the coming weeks, continuing to learn and helping to shape eco:fibr's communication. 🌱
