#Paperisation: According to a recent analysis by the Öko-Institut, Germany alone could face a wood shortage of 25 million m³ per year by 2035. 📈
Our latest laboratory #prototype shows the versatility of our pineapple plant fibres in fibre molding.
A 50/50 blend with NBSK (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft) produces a stable, well-shaped product that can be integrated into existing production processes without any adjustments.🍍🌲
The good processability and favorable material properties show that our pulp works not only in theory but also in practice. ✅
Thanks to Kiefel and Olga Holzmann for this collaboration!
We are very positive about the results so far and see great #potential. At the same time, we are continuing to optimize the process to develop a market-ready product that sets new standards in both functionality and sustainability. Stay tuned! 🌍🧪
With our mission "Turning waste into purpose", we actively promote the circular economy. Our team produces pulp from pineapple plant residues, providing an alternative to wood-based fibres. 🍍✨
