#6th FUNCTIONAL FIBER BASED MATERIALS & PACKAGING 2026

When Europe's fiber packaging industry comes together, we're glad to be there 🌍.

From 30 September to 1 October, Merit will be at the 6th Functional Fiber-Based Materials & Packaging in Barcelona for eco:fibr. An international conference that brings together brand owners, packaging converters, fiber producers and material innovators.

At its center are topics we deal with every day, functional fiber packaging, the replacement of plastic, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and, above all, alternative fiber sources.

That's exactly where we come in. With pineapple:fibr, we produce high-quality fibers and fines from agricultural residues, ISEGA-certified for food contact and ready for industrial applications.

Are you in Barcelona too? Then come and talk to Merit, we'd love to connect.
